8 am to 5 pm
Wednesday - noon to 5 pm

Procedures are performed the 1st, 3rd and 5th (if applicable) Monday of each month from 1:00 to 5 pm after initial evaluation.

This specialty clinic serves patients that have a dermatological disease diagnosed by a physician requiring more in depth work up and continuing specialty care. Patients are scheduled based on referral/ consultation review and medical necessity. The initial visit is an evaluation and treatment that may be rendered on subsequent visits. The Dermatology Clinic is a teaching based clinic for the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Physicians

Eric W. Kraus, MD

serves as the Dermatology Chief of Staff and Attending Faculty Physician at the Texas Diabetes Institute. Dr. Kraus is a graduate of the UT Health Science Center.

Larry Becker, MD

Jennifer Krejci-Manwaring, MD

serves as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. She sees patients at the Texas Diabetes Institute and the Audie Murphy Veterans Hospital. Her specialties include medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Krejci recieved her medical degree from UT-Houston and completed residency at the University of Kansas in Kansas City. .

Jeffery Meffert, MD

serves as a Dermatologist at the Texas Diabetes Institute and as a Clinical Associate Professor of the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Meffert received his medical degree from UTHSC-San Antonio, TX in 1981. He completed residencies at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio in San Antonio, TX (Family Practice) and Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB, TX (Dermatology).
