Wall of Honor - Every November the Texas Diabetes Institute recognizes an individual of Bexar County, Texas to be inducted on to their prestigious Wall of Honor. This distinction is awarded to extraordinary individuals who significantly contribute to the awareness and prevention of diabetes.

Fun Bowl - This annual fundraiser has raised over $40,000 for diabetes awareness and research. In an effort to foster and enhance community awareness everyone is encouraged to come strike out diabetes. The Fun Bowl is a great opportunity for the community and businesses to spend a Sunday afternoon helping a most worthy cause. Please stay tuned for more details to come.

Diabetes Alert -The American Diabetes Alert is an annual, one-day call-to-action held on the fourth Tuesday of March for people to find out if they are at risk for diabetes. The Alert's goal is to raise the awareness that diabetes is serious, you can have diabetes and not even know it, and that taking the Risk Test is an easy way to find out if you are at risk for diabetes.
